HP's reply to my laptop CPU temperature question

Here's the response I got from HP's email support regarding the high CPU temperatures I get from my Compaq B1285TU.

I apologize for this delayed response, and I equally understand the inconvenience caused to you by the same because we value your precious time, and we are working constantly to provide technical support to all of our customers.

From your email, we understand that processor temperature is high in your Notebook PC.

Regarding this issue I would suggest you update the BIOS from below mentioned web link.

HPQFlash for HP Notebook System BIOS (68MSU) - Microsoft Windows/Vista-Based

I just installed this BIOS update. I'll be looking out for my CPU temp today and early tomorrow if there will be changes in my CPU temp. If not, it'll be off to the service center tomorrow afternoon.

Here's the previous post on this...
